Dawn Clem currently works as a special education program specialist for a large school district near Houston, Texas and tutors Houston and Sugar Land area elementary students in reading and math.
She attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art and a Master of Science in Special Education. After completing college, she taught for 18 years as an elementary special education teacher before becoming an administrator. She is certified in Elementary Self-Contained Grades 1-8, Generic Special Education PK-12 and English as a Second Language PK-12.
Dawn is a dedicated and passionate individual committed to providing a well-balanced, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all students. Dawn uses a multisensory approach to meet the needs of the children she tutors. She is flexible and accommodating in the design and implementation of hands-on lessons, delivering differentiated instruction to enhance student achievement.
